Luminik vs Mobly: booth execution, or the whole event pipeline

Mobly spans the widest set of stages on this page, with capture documented in detail. The comparison is depth: whose enrichment, whose outreach, and whose attribution number your CFO signs.

Choose Luminik if

You want the pipeline built on vendors and sequencers you already trust, an open event catalogue you can verify yourself, and attribution written to Opportunity fields rather than an execution dashboard.

Choose Mobly if

Booth execution is your world: BYOD capture that survives dead convention-center Wi-Fi, follow-up out in hours, speed-to-lead on a scoreboard, and hosted activations for your own side events. Their docs publish the per-CRM match chain for each of those steps.

What Mobly is

Mobly calls itself an “AI-Powered Event Marketing Platform & Lead Capture” and ships five named modules: Scout (event discovery over 180,000 events), Host (branded activations with registration and check-in), Capture (OCR of badges, cards, QR, even handwritten name tags, with offline mode), Pulse (automated follow-up within hours), and Insights (per-event goals, lead quality, rep performance, speed to lead).

They raised a $4.3M oversubscribed seed in January 2025 (Jump Capital, Eniac Ventures) and name Adobe, Ramp, JLL, and Wistia among customers, strong logo velocity for the stage. Their integrations page lists HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, Calendly, and webhooks; no Outreach, no Salesloft, no event-registration platforms.

What it costs

Every figure here carries its source and the date we read it.

Mobly

Pricing is not published; a sales call is required. There is no pricing page on getmobly.com (the /pricing URL returns a 404), no figure on the homepage, product page, or FAQ, and every call to action is a demo booking, checked August 2026. Mobly has no Capterra profile. The one sourced cost comment is a reviewer on enrichment: “The cost of matches per contact, I think, is kinda high” (Ece K., senior marketing specialist, mid-market, reported in a G2 review, April 2026).

Luminik

Starter is $299 a month, Growth is $799 a month, Scale starts at $1,999 a month, all on the pricing page. Annual billing is pay for 10 months and get 12. No per-seat fees on any tier, and enrichment runs on your own vendor contract rather than a per-record charge.

The practical difference: a Luminik budget line can be built from the pricing page, and a Mobly one starts with a demo.

When Mobly is the better choice

  • Booth execution and speed-to-lead are the metrics you live by; their capture-to-follow-up loop is purpose-built for it and documented down to offline behavior.
  • You run your own side events and want registration, check-in, and attendance tracking in the same tool; Host has no equivalent from any vendor on this page, Luminik included.
  • Your MAP is Eloqua: they are the only vendor in this category publishing that integration.

When Luminik is the better choice

  • You want to know where your enrichment data comes from. Luminik runs your own vendor contracts with their published coverage; Mobly's waterfall names no partners.
  • Your outreach is multi-step and lives in Apollo, Salesloft, Amplemarket, or Lemlist; a single automated follow-up touch will not carry a flagship event's sequence plan.
  • Budget defense is the job. Luminik's attribution writes sourced and influenced pipeline to the Opportunity, which is the record a CFO audits. Mobly's own docs state that Mobly does not create or update Opportunities, and their Insights measure how the event was executed.

Questions buyers ask

Mobly covers all five stages too. What is different?

Depth and direction. Mobly covers all five stages, and their capture documentation goes further than anyone else's on this page. The differences that matter operationally: their enrichment names no data partners while Luminik runs on the vendors you already contract; their follow-up is a single automated touch while Luminik feeds your sequencer; and their Insights measure event execution while Luminik writes sourced-vs-influenced pipeline onto the Opportunity itself.

What does Mobly cost?

Not published. Their site has no pricing page (the URL returns a 404) and the only calls to action are a demo and a login. Third-party descriptions of flat-rate annual pricing exist but no dollar figure appears on any primary source, so we will not repeat one. Luminik publishes its pricing on the pricing page.

Is Mobly's event database comparable to Vendelux's?

Their published number is 180,000 events versus Vendelux's 250,000+, and Scout adds decision support (cost and sponsorship-tier guidance) that Vendelux does not publish. Neither database is open. Luminik's catalogue is open and intentional: the events your ICP attends, on current editions, verified, readable without a login. Anything outside it is sourced on request and back with you within 24 hours.

Who is Mobly built for?

Field and event marketing owners at mid-market B2B, with booth reps as daily users; Adobe, Ramp, and JLL are named customers. If that is you and hosted activations (their Host module, registration and check-in for your own events) matter, they are genuinely the only vendor here offering it.
